It wasnât what I thought but I love it & so does my spouse.
I originally bought this Craft & Kin White Sage candle in amber jar as an alternative to smudging with a white sage stick. While there is sage, the dominant scents seems to come from spices or maybe resins and the candle smells more perfume-like than my sticks. That said, my husband loves the way it makes our place smell and has slept soundly & well after lighting the candle the last few nights for the first time since moving here. The scent lingers after burning and candle burns cleanly. I will snuff & trim wick after 3-4 hours of burning and the candle burn time is as advertised. We both love this candle and thatâs rare. Iâve already ordered another for us and sent one to a dear friend who needed a pick-me-up. Presentation is good (comes in a sturdy black gift box) and I had it delivered to the Midwest in August with no problems, although I didnât leave it to sit outside on the porch in the heat.One other comment. I also bought the Craft & Kin White Sage candle in the white jar because it was on sale and I assumed it would be just as good, but I was wrong. Unless thereâs a huge price difference I would rather pay full price for this amber jar candle than save $3-$4 on the same scent in white jar candle by same company.

Iâm not usually a review writer but this candle has impressed me. I have burned this candle for around 12 hours and have barely made a dent in it as you can see in the picture. This 8oz candle has lasted 3x as long as my large bath & body works candles! You can tell that the wax is high-quality with how slow it burns, which really gives the customer their moneyâs worth. The scent is also not too strong like other candles I have that give me nauseating headaches. Iâm overall very impressed by this brand and will be buying these candles from now on.

The candle is small for the price. A lot of money for what little you get. Itâs marketed as having a cedar scent, but it just smells like musty, burnt wood. It has the smell of a forest after a wildfire has passed through. It smells NOTHING like cedar. Iâm not interested in its longevity because I have no intention of lighting it again.The best thing I can say about it is that the odor is not strong. It does not spread throughout a room, and Iâm happy for that, since the odor this one gives off is bad. I will not purchase another candle, and I do NOT recommend that you purchase one either.
