Nice and Heavy, Stays Put
My air fryer is conveniently located in the laundry room, which is off of the kitchen. Because of that, the top of my clothes dryer gets abuse from spilled food, utensils, and potentially hot things. When thinking about getting an outdoor BBQ type mat, all I could find was day-glo orange, then this popped up.It got here quickly, and when I opened it up, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is of a heavy silicone material, not some thin silicone product that would be of marginal utility.Measure your appliance top, and determine if you are OK with cutting this down to size if need be. It is approximately 2′ x 2′, and my dryer is ~2′ x 18″, so I had to cut it down, which lost one edge of the raised lip. This was no problem since I put the cut edge toward the rear of the dryer, leaving the sides & front with the raised lip to protect from any liquid spills.The fact that this is silicone now frees me from worrying about utensils scratching the dryer top or a hot container from the oven having to be carried to the kitchen. Highly recommend this. Don’t recommend putting your air fryer/toaster oven in the laundry room.

Overall, the mat does what it claims to do. However, make sure to measure your washer or dryer to ensure it will fit nicely, as not all appliances are the same size. In my case, this product covers exactly the area I wanted covered.Fit and MaterialThe product page states it’s non-slip, and while there’s no suction cup underneath, the material and the weight of the items I placed on top of the washer have kept it in place after a few loads of laundry. I was initially worried the creases wouldn’t come out, but after a few days, it seems to have smoothed out nicely.FunctionalityThe lip isn’t super rigid, but itâs enough to hold small items like pens, coins, etc., from falling off the top during a rough wash.SuggestionsI would love to see a 2-pack offering for added value.

I didn’t even realize they made these until stumbling upon this… When I purchased my washer/dryer in 2016, I had been using a makeshift fabric bag on top of my dryer for protection from spills and scratches. This is a much better option! The high-quality silicone is thick and durable, providing a nice layer of protection.The cover fits snugly on top of my dryer. No more worrying about scratches or spills; this silicone cover has got it coveredâliterally.Should a spill occur, the cleanup will be a breeze. The non-porous surface means that any liquid beads up and can be easily wiped away.The only draw-back I can see is it’s not sold in a set. But regardless, this provides the needed protection for the top of either machine. Although, a matching companion would have been nice. The quality and thickness of the Silicone makes this model stand out from the other models I looked over prior to deciding to review this item. I’m very pleased with my choice, this is a good quality product.

I ordered this rubber cover mat for my Maytag dryer to keep it clean and scratch free. Now instead of putting dryer sheet boxes etc. in my closest closet I can put them right on top of my dryer without having to worry about scratches or anything flying off my dryer during the dryer’s operation.The cover mat arrived fast (I have Amazon Prime) in a smaller shipping box than I thought it would arrive in. When I opened the bag it was in, it unfolded to the size cover mat I ordered which was 23.6 x 23.6 which is a perfect fit for my dryer.The cover mat is made of rubber and is very well made. I’m glad I ordered this cover mat for my dryer and highly recommend it.

Cheap and Flimsy
I picked this up to use as a mat underneath my cats food and water dishes, (one of my kitties plays in the water bowl and makes a mess everywhere). I didnât know what size would be best for my needs so I picked up a couple of them and boy Iâm glad I did because this one is pretty sad. The images show a diamond pattern, which I would prefer to allow the water to be separated from the bowls, but itâs not itâs just a plane old flat surface and the sides donât even stay up! I couldnât imagine using this on top of a dryer to catch any type of liquid containment! The sides would act more like a spout vs a barrier. The whole thing is cheaply made and came in a ziploc type of bag that was too small for it and popped open. I know the packaging isnât the item but it does show that they were trying to make it as cheap as possible. This is a total pass!

I have two different mats on in my laundry room… one for the washer and one for the dryer. They’re both approximately the same size, but this one does not sit as flat (it has uneven areas from being folded up that don’t seem to smooth out. The ‘dam’ (ridged edges) is also much softer than the other one I have. It does do what it is supposed to, but is just weaker than I expected.

Simple solution for washer and dryer tops!
This simple non-slip Silicone washer and dryer top protector is just the solution we needed. For years, we have used lightweight blankets to protect the tops of both our washer and dryer. Our set is a nice one, but keeping the blankets straight and clean can be a bit of a hassle at times.This silicone topper is a perfect solution for us. We can now see and more easily access our washer top and door as well as using the top protector to catch any seed spillage from our bird’s food containers which we store on top along with our containers for the laundry soap and softener. Win-win. My wife is happy that the silicone protector has a lip and is easy to clean. Our laundry room looks much neater now, which also makes me happy. Highly recommend this simple solution!

Quality Mats
I am always looking for ways to keep my washer and dryer from getting dinged or scratched. There are heavy tubs of detergent and baskets that are laid on top of the washer and dryer so this was the perfect solution. This is is currently on top of my washer and it is nice to have it lay there. I have not worried about the top getting scratched and any item that I place on top, there is a great barrier for maximum protection. Extremely satisfied with this mat.
