    Works great!
It’s amazing how rich homemade ice cream is. Every recipe we have tried makes about a quart of ice cream but a little goes a long way. It’s wild.As far as the machine goes- it’s easy to set up, I love how it stops when the ice cream is finished churning- except for the last time we used it, all the ice cream was stuck to the paddle going round and round for way longer than usual but afterwards we realized that we forgot to put the metal tub into the freezer ahead to f time so that was user error.Follow the instructions and you’ll be good to go.I recommend using it outside or in a good sized sink because a lot of condensation builds up on the outside and the bucket itself is not watertight. Salty water cleanup isn’t difficult, just so much easier to let it leak out over something other than your kitchen counters (and onto the floor if you aren’t paying attention)We haven’t tried the hand crank, but it looks nice and solid.

    Bowl came broken and leaks
I love making ice cream with kids at home. Water does leak out of the wooden bucket though because it arrived damaged. Great buy overall

    Great job.
We used it for the first time this last weekend and it did a great job. Froze the icecream to a good firm consistency.

    SUPER QUIET!!
Bought this for our annual birthday bash. We have only had cheap plastic ones from Walmart. This is worth the extra dollars. It is Soo Quiet! You don’t have to yell over the noise. My daughter told me she had a nice wooden one too. She recently moved back to Alabama after her house burned & her husband died thru it all. She had taken the ice cream maker box with the mixer in it prior to the fire. Only when we took the freezer from the box did she realize the cyclinder was missing & had gotten burned up it was a sad moment for us, it was just like mine. So my son went & got his cheapie plastic one. Plugged it up beside mine & the tears turned to yelling. We could not hear yourselves!I definitely say YES to this ice cream freezer. Can’t wait for the manual handle to be used maybe next time.

Poor quality product, poor customer service, terrible value
I purchased this to replace the wooden bucket style ice cream maker that my husband had for over 30 years (brand is no longer made). This seemed like a good replacement, and I figured with the warranty it would be a safe choice. We soaked the bucket for 24 hours, and thought we were ready to have homemade ice cream again. Nope! The bucket leaks so badly that you can’t get the ice cream to freeze, even after turning for over an hour! I contacted customer service, who referred me back to Amazon. I replied that I was past the return window, and had been told to contact the company. Was asked for original invoice, and photos/video of the leaking, photo of the model number on the bottom of the motor. After spending the time submitting all that, we waited for several weeks to get the new wooden bucket, which leaks worse than the original! I now have to go through the frustrating process of photographing and filming this bucket to try for one that will hold water. There are nicer products out there. I would pass on this one if I could get a re-do. Not at all recommended. I would give zero stars, if there was the option.

Gracias a esto ahora puedo hacer gelato y sorbete, quedan con una perfecta textura, y para los que dicen que s ele derrama el hielo en que se derrite es porque primero debe dejarse con agua dentro la cubeta para que la madera se expanda.
