Bad execution of a clever design
Donât buy. This plastic is one notch above disposable. Heat malforms it easily, so itâs worthless for pasta. Too bad. Needs to be a higher grade plastic and, tbh, larger. Once the plastic flexes the strainer piece wonât stay in.

Clever idea, but poor design. Execution is even worse. The “dam” that slides into the handle slides out better than it stays in. It’s so light, it floats around in the dishwasher and usually winds up down in the bottom of the tank. After a few times of use, especially with anything hot, the plastic flexes so much the dam just simply falls out. We’ve had so many noodles dump into our sink because they just pour right out of the spout when the plastic expands. Once you see it in person, you might give it the same name we have: “The bedpan”. Don’t bother with it.

I thought this would be a great way to avoid putting a colander directly into the sink, but it is so cheap and already, after one use, the plastic has warped causing the sieve piece to not fit. What a waste.

Maybe this is a product defect but the âfilterâ that you slide in will not stay locked in. I had to hold it in place so everything didnât slide out.
