I love this thing!
I originally purchased a different brand of slushie maker for more than twice the price. The main difference is that the more expensive one requires that you scrape the sides of the container while the liquid freezes. It was quite tedious to use and the results were hit or miss. With this one all you do is squeeze the cup. Wow! Huge difference. This one freezes way faster with much less effort. The other brand needs sugary drinks to work best. It made my coffee mix taste mostly like ice and despite constantly scraping, the liquid would freeze to the sides of the cup and turn to solid ice. Not so with this cup! This brand doesnât need lots of sugar to work well. Iâve had good results with unsweetened fruit juices as well. In short, itâs easier to use with way better results. (So much for getting what you pay for.) Hereâs my list of the good and the bad:Pros:Works super fastOnly needs an hour or two to get to freezing temperature (refreezes fast)Doesnât require lots of sugar to freeze properlyFairly easy to squeezeCons:You have to work a bit to get all the slushie out from between the foldsThe plastic stained after using an artificially colored juice product (it was only one kind – no others stained)Itâs harder to clean than a smooth cup but really not terribleTips: I recommend drying the inside of the cup after washing and before freezing. Otherwise youâll have ice inside that will get hard and water down your drink. The cup gets really cold so if youâre sensitive just wrap a towel around the outside. Once your slushy gets to the consistency you want, you might want to put it in another container because the cup will continue to freeze which makes it a little icy tasting – not good for coffee based drinks. This is great for kids! Scraping slushie out of the folds of the cup will keep them busy for a bit. When you take it apart for cleaning pay attention to how the pieces fit back together!Iâve been using this thing once or twice a day for a couple of weeks now and itâs holding up well. I havenât tried any alcoholic drinks yet but it should work well. I imagine it wonât get as firm since alcohol doesnât freeze. In the end, if youâre thinking about this or the more expensive cup, Iâd definitely recommend this one because, despite the cons, it is overall a much better performer.

 I first saw this cup in YouTube around a year ago and I thought there was no way this would work, so I ordered about a week ago. It recently came in and Iâve been able to make about three slushes a day with just one cup. Iâve used root beer, Pepsi, and Sunkist. I like to leave this in the freezer all the time so itâs always ready around meal time. I would most definitely recommend it and I would buy it again, it is so worth the money. It does work and it tastes really good! And the quality of the cup is absolutely amazing! The way itâs used is just like it says, itâs really easy. Good for people of all ages. It honestly doesnât even sound realistic the way it works but it does!

This cup does not break easily in different parts like another review mentioned. You just have to know how to put it back together. It is meant to be taken apart so you can wash all parts throughly with water and soap but as the instructions mentioned do not put it in the dishwasher. I love slushy drinks or drinks with crushed ice. This is amazing but you have to freeze the cup for a few hours. 1 hour will not work. It has to be completely frozen for a few hours to get the best slushy drinks. It is best to freeze the cup overnight to get a really good slushy drink. Once frozen, press the cup a few times and you will see the ice appear. So far I have used it atleast once per day.Tips on how to put it back together if your cup came apart like another review mentioned: The cup itself actually has 6 separate parts which includes the cover (see attached pics)- 1- Pink silicon cup, 2- white squishy interior (found inside pink cup) 3- white circle which has 2 pointed items on the cup located around the outside rim of the pink cup, 4- white flat circle that sits on top of cup, slightly inside of the white slushy interior and pink cup, 5- larger white circle piece that screw onto the top of the cup, 6- clear dome lid. The straw/spoon can come apart too. I attached pics to show how to put it back together. The circle part with the two points attached actually goes under the cup. The flat smallest flat circle go inside the top part of the cup. Then the largest circle part screws on top of the circle that went under the cup. The lid the. screw on top of the largest circle. To freeze just take off the lid or if you like leave the lid on but leave the other parts on the cup. See labeled pics.

I am so impressed. I would have never ordered this if I had not seen my friend try it while we were in a video chat. I ordered one right away. When I got it, I couldn’t believe it. It really does work exactly like it says it does. I posted pics to show you. I loved it so much after having it just a couple of days I ordered two more. Mostly because I wanted to use it again before it was done freezing again. I have been using Sparkling ICE flavored carbonated sugar free drinks so far but I cant wait to try some other things like creamy coffee but currently love my fruity flavors.
