Not As Big As I Need It! 🙂
The instructions push soda, but I put my chocolate protein shake in here with some heavy cream. I totally got my ice cream fix with this! Super small though; I had to refill it with my mixed shake 4 or 5 times to finish the serving.Pros:- Nice packaging.- Video on listing was helpful.- Item matches the listing description.- Included spoon is nice so you have a gentle utensil right away that won’t puncture the capsules.- Made nice ice cream; came off the sides super easy.Cons:- Not really giftable unless you are giving it to someone where you can throw away the packaging before they look too closely, haha. Font and design of the packaging is nice; the grammar is not.- This could be bigger, and I especially did not like the tapered bottom. It was a bit hard to wash the bottom. At $10 (at the time of this review) this is a great value. There is another color for just under $17; not sure I’d buy at that price. Shipping was super fast.

A great treat maker!!!!
Ok, my boys were super excited about this. A little learning curve, but after trial and error, it’s really neat! After washing, we placed it in the fridge for the recommended minimum 4 hours. After those 4 hours were up, we poured some lemonade in and began squeezing. Nothing happened. So we squeezed a little more. Nothing still. We went back to the directions and felt like we were doing everything correctly. So we kept on squeezing and finally we started to see some ice. But very very little ice and my boys lost interest. I poured out the drink, washed the cup, and put it in the freezer instead of the fridge. The next day we tried again and, voila, almost immediately we got ice! But I failed to put the cup back together correctly and the drink kept spilling out in between all the pieces. I ended up having to look for a video to see how it went together (luckily there is one in the description). So after figuring out the freezer is the only way to go and getting it pieced together correctly, we had successful and quick results! We’ve tried multiple different drinks and have loved everything we’ve magically turned to a slushie!

Only works for a small amount of liquid
So this cup could be fun for a small child to make a slushy because it does only works for a small amount of liquid. It does not work a second time without refreezing, so each child would need their own. The shape of the frozen part of the cup makes it a little difficult to clean. For an adult it is just overall disappointing.

Perfect for summer!
I was a little skeptical about trying this, but I’m so glad that I did. As the instructions say, freeze it for at least 4 hours (remember: *freezer*, not fridge), pour in your drink of choice, and squeeze for an instant slushie. For those with any sort of hand issues, it’s not difficult to squeeze either! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to squeeze it enough without causing a tendonitis flare up, but the cup is extremely soft and malleable. You really don’t even have to squeeze it more than a few times to get your slushie. Also, pro tip: make sure you stick the seal on in the right place when re-assembling it after washing, otherwise your drink will come spilling out of the side when you squeeze it. But my only gripe is that it doesn’t hold much liquid. I couldn’t fit even a whole bottle of soda in there. It’s still more than enough for a sweet treat to beat the afternoon heat, though.

Love it!
I love this cup! I am so excited at how it worked. I put the inner cup in the freezer as directed. I used sparkling cranberry juice in it and it was delicious! Just as the instructions tell you, after I put the juice in after just a few moments of squeezing the cup – I had a slushie drink! I was surprised at how well it worked. The cup kept the contents nice and frozen for quite a long time! I immediately put it back in the freezer as soon as I was done so I can make another one. I think I will have to get a couple more so I have one for each grandchild when they come over.

Such a fun magic cup! Spark kids curiosity, learn science & get involve din the kitchen!
This is such a fun item and my daughter and her classmates and my nieces and nephews just love it!Any child toddler age and up can squeeze this cup and in under a minute it makes an icee slushy type drink. To little ones in particular this is like magic! The cup has an inner EVA liner that you put into he freezer for 4 to 6 hours and then pop it easily back into the cup, put the lid on and pour juice or soda or whatever you want into the hole in the top of the lid. When you squeeze the silicone cup and the EVA liner the drink inside reacts with the movement and the differences in temps and it forms ice.I was surprised how well this works. It’s very fast, too. I felt kind of silly squeezing my drink but it doesn’t take long at all. It was fun to watch the kids faces and reactions as they see this working.Great opportunity to teach a mini science lesson about how it works and great way to get my kids to drink fresh-squeezed fruit and veggie juice (instead of the juice that has a ton of added sugar). Great way to get kids involved in the kitchen too and give them confidence as they begin to learn to make their own food in appropriate ways for their age group. This also keeps beverages cold for hours, so you can use it like an insulated cup as well. It comes with a straw with a small slushy spoon that fits onto the end of the straw.Be careful not to overfill the cup so it won’t splash when you squeeze it to freeze it!Definitely recommended! 🙂

Doesn’t fit much
I was able to get about 12oz in this and make a pretty successful slushy. It took a lot of squeezing and about 10 or 15 minutes to get it slush like but it happened and it was good. I probably could’ve frozen the cup longer and gotten a better result but I was happy with what I got. This is perfect for hot days and fun for the kids too!
