A must-have for summer
These slushie cups are so much fun! This isn’t my first, by far. I’ve kept cool for the last couple summers with them and love being able to make a slushie or frappucino whenever I want. This year I’ve added some steep competition, a shaved ice machine, but I still use my slushie cups all the time because I can pour whatever I want in them and it freezes right away.During high use season I like to keep at least two in the freezer, that way if I use one I still have another frozen and ready to go. Cleaning them isn’t hard but it’s best done with a bottle brush and a straw brush to get between the creases. It’s also pretty easy with juices, but a little more labor intensive with anything that has fat (like coffee drinks with milk).The straw/spoon that comes with them isn’t great, the spoon is way too flat to hold the frozen drink easily, but I like to scoop the slushie into a regular cup (insulated if possible) once it’s frozen anyway, and it’s long enough to reach to the bottom and thin enough to reach between the creases to get it all out. Because it comes in two pieces I’ve had issues with the spoon coming off the straw when stuck between creases, but for the most part it’s fine for scooping the drink out.The reason I keep getting more is because everyone loves them! I’ve given them as birthday gifts and just regular everyday gifts. I have yet to find anyone who doesn’t love the delicious icy goodness that comes from these cups. I do wish they were a bit bigger so I could freeze a little more, but 8 oz is better than 0 oz.So if you like slushies, frozen drinks, or staying cool, these are a fantastic and fun way to achieve all of those.

I didn’t even know these existed! I heard my kids talking about slushy cups one day but being the old person that I am, I didn’t know it was an actual product. Once we received this we immediately put it in the freezer to try it out. In a short amount of time, we have already tried about 20 different drinks as slushies and it’s incredible! I’ve already ordered a few more because there are four of us in the family and we aren’t the most patient as we wait our turn. You can literally put any drink in this after it’s been in the freezer and squeeze it repeatedly turning it into a custom slushy. Are you a fan of frappuccino’s? Yep, you can even use coffee in these and get a coffee slush. The limits are endless. Even though I do not drink alcohol, I imagine you could probably throw that in there as well. I highly recommend picking this up if you love to stay cool and the ability to create customized frozen drinks!

At first, I had doubts for this little slushy maker But it works, it really does and its so awesome to see the liquid become slush! The first time I used it, I did not let the cup freeze enough so the liquid was not quite as icy as I like but once I froze the cup overnight it worked wonderfully. It didnt take long to see the liquid become a delicious and refreshing slushie!
