I try to avoid making purchases strictly based on what my 11-year-old sees on TikTok because often times itâs just a letdown. This little cup might be the exception. I was super skeptical and actually said âNo wayâ the first four times she asked for it, but I finally broke down/ gave in and bought her one, but told her not to be disappointed if it didnât work the way that the Internet said it would.It came with a little instruction booklet, which was super helpful⦠Tossed it in the freezer and kind of hoped for the best and I will admit the first time we used it. It was a little bit of a letdown, it worked but not well⦠I flipped back through the instruction, booklet and did a little bit of my own tik tok âresearchâ and came to the conclusion the soda (she wanted a coke slushie) probably needed to be cold vs room temp. We put a couple of sodas in the fridge, put the cup back in the freezer and try it again, and it worked perfectly. It worked so perfectly. In fact, I bought a second one so that one could always be in the freezer ready to go.Itâs been a fun little novelty thing for her to have and even as itâs starting to get cold where we live it doesnât seem to have lost its fun factor and she continues to use it almost every day with juice and even just regular water.I would definitely recommend it, my husband and I enjoy it too. The only thing I would definitely suggest is that you make sure whatever youâre pouring into it is cold. It will slush a room temperature drink it just doesnât do it that well or that quickly

I think this cup is great and it works well, Snapple apple, orange juice and Gatorade are my favorite slushees now! It does seem a bit cheaply made as the first time I cleaned it the top came off in a couple pieces and I donât believe it was supposed to. Still works though!

Doesnât work. Went from block of ice to water
Worst purchase Iâve made in a long time. Did you think it was possible for some thing to go from art block a base to water without becoming slushy first? I didnât. I never knew the laws of physics would allow that to happen. However, it seems that this cup is the ONLY vessel on the planet to make a frozen drink go from hard block of ice straight to water. Ice was so hard that not even my body builder friend could squeeze it to make a slushy. I left it out for 3 hours while watching TV and I watched it the whole time, trying to squeeze the outside and make it a slushy. Never happened. The ice was never soft enough to squeeze. After 4 hrs, I have solid cylinder of ice that will NOT break up, and a pool of water surrounding it. It went from hard block of ice to water. Never became soft ice to make slushy.

I was extremely excited to get this. Iâm a huge slushy addict. I bought special syrup for flavoring. The first use I washed the cup with soapy water, rinsed and set in the freezer over night. The next day I filled it with cold water and a few squirts of the flavored syrup. The cup is made out of rubber and the idea is to squeeze repeatedly until it freezes and breaks up. Itâs a bit of elbow grease, but it certainly started to work. My biggest complaint is there is some type of pillow like material inside which feels like it would be easy to puncture. I elected to empty the slushy into a regular glass to drink. The contents barely filled a glass a quarter way and had larger ice chunks mixed with the fine. In fairness, I had not tried with juice or soda yet. Slushy still tasted good. Kids would love it.

I use it every night after my walk. Great treat to cool down to. Easy to use, put any drink in and smush it and done in minutes. Easy to clean and put back in freezer for the next day! I miss my 7-11 slurped and this is great at home version.
