I had been using other dryer balls that would fall apart after 1-2 washes⦠but these have made it through dozens of washes each month & are still holding up! Laundry doesnât mess up
I am not sure if it reduces the drying time, but I do see the laundry doesnât mess up when it is dry. I still use dryer sheets to make the laundry smell fresh. I might try essential oils.

Overall 5here are a nice alternative to fabric softener. There is no scent, but the advice for them states they can be treated with a little essential oil of your choice. I did this, and my clothes have a light scent (not as strong as with fabric softener). However, 5he space around my dryer has a very nice fragrance.Clothes have a bit of the crispness seen with line-dried clothes â not the squishy softness a fabric softener provides. I wouldnât consider these equivalent to a fabric softener, but they are a reasonable alternative, and they don’t leave a funky residue in the washer.
